- calls with a recorded voice indicating you are overdue to make arrangements to connect to NBN directing you to press one to speak to the technician
- sounds quite official and may fool those unsure of when the NBN comes to their street
- the fact that a phone number comes up could fool some into thinking its not a scam as most come up as "private"
