This number kept leaving messages on my voicemail with the following message; ‘we will be deducting $199.00 from your account in regards to an Apple gift card you’re purchased on eBay. Please call us back on 03 9005 6163‘ firstly, I don’t have an eBay account so the joke was on them. I notified eBay and they have had a number of people contact them today as well about the same issue. They will be contacting local authorities and telcos. The moment you call them they will tell you to download an app called ‘TeamViewer quick support’ this poor company and app creator has done nothing wrong but due to these scums trying to steal people’s money, they will be receiving some negative reviews. Basically the app allows a user to mirror your smart phone or computer and basically hold your info to ransom. So be smart and question every call or voicemail you receive.
