After mailing in some paperwork to my local social security office, I received a phone call saying I should call this number to activate a request. The number is very similar to the true number of my local soc. security office. But when I called, it was obviously a call center. The person who answered wanted a credit card number to verify my address, which I thought was suspicious. So I backed out, and called my local office directly. There is something odd with this number.
